FORMAT:

This is our showpiece club Open of the year, a 36-hole four-ball-better-ball medal.

All players use the black card; men use the black tees and ladies use the green tees.

All competitors should be a member of a club and supply their WHS/CDH numbers upon entry.

85% handicap allowance applies (for nett event).

Max handicaps: men 18, ladies 24.

Tour status Professionals play off of +4; full-time Pro players play off of +2; Club Pros play off of scratch.

In the event of a tie for the main trophy there will be a sudden death play-off on the 18th hole (repeating).

The tournament director’s decision on any dispute is final.

 

TEE TIMES:

All entrants play Round 1 on Saturday 29th July and Round 2 on Sunday 30th July 2023.

Both rounds will involve a morning and an afternoon two-tee-start.

The morning start will be from 8am-10am and the afternoon start will be from 12:48-2:48pm.

Tee times for Round 1 will be allocated via a draw. If you have a preference for morning or afternoon start please indicate on your entry. You will be notified of your tee time via email once the draw has been made.

Tee times for Round 2 will be allocated in reverse gross score order. The gross and nett leaders after Round 1 will play at the end of the field. You will be notified of your tee time via email on the Saturday evening once the draw has been made (and it will also be available on the Kendleshire website).

 

PRIZES:

Overall gross: 1st (£400 each), 2nd (£200 each), 3rd (£75 each), 4th (£60 each), 5th (£50 each)

Overall nett: 1st (£400 each), 2nd (£200 each), 3rd (£75 each), 4th (£60 each), 5th (£50 each)

Round 1: Best Gross score (£40 each), Best Nett Score (£40 each)

Round 2: Best Gross score (£40 each), Best Nett Score (£40 each)

Aggregate: Best Aggregate Score (£75 each)

Total Prize Fund: £3610

Non-Members: £85 per person
